Dormer extension with a tiled roof and 3 Velux windows.

Project Information:  Here we constructed a large roof extension with a fully tiled roof and installed 3 Velux windows.

This detached property occupied with a young growing family, asked for more living space. They contacted us to build them a loft conversion. We created for them a dormer with a tiled 'cat slide roof'.  Inside we built a new matching hardwood staircase joining the original part of the house to the new loft rooms.

The result is a huge spacious 2 bedroom loft conversion with large family shower room. This enabled the two young boys to have a double room each. We fitted 2 large Velux windows with blinds and a smaller electric solar powered Velux window. This gave the whole family a light and airy living space to use as they required.
