Project Information: A loft conversion on a bungalow, incorporating a dormer, two Velux's and a hard wood staircase.
This two-bed bungalow was owned by an older lady. When her two daughters moved back home with their children, the one person household became a seven person household. It was time to extend the property!
We effectively turned the bungalow into a two-storey house by carrying out a loft conversion, which created two massive bedrooms and an extra bathroom. Then we installed a hardwood staircase to link the two floors. As for the ground floor of the property, we carried out a garage conversion to create a utility room with a door into the hallway, and then added a large conservatory onto the back of the house.
The transformation of this little bungalow into a spacious family home concluded with a complete redecoration of both floors, including new wiring and a new central heating system.
